Connected to Tomorrow’s Dairy
In 2022 we started with the Tomorrow’s Dairy program - a partnership with our customer Nestlé. Around 150 of our 850 dairy farmers are currently participating in this program. All the built-up knowledge of this program enables us now to scale-up. We do this with the Future-proof farming program.

Future-proof farming objectives
The main goal is to reduce greenhouse gas emissions on the dairy farm. At the same time, we encourage regenerative farming practices that support clean water, healthy soils, greater biodiversity, and the well-being of both people and animals. Participating dairy farmers receive a premium when they contribute to these goals, measured by different KPIs.
Future-proof farming KPI's
Emission Reduction
- Low carbon footprint
- Compensation for the use of Bovaer®.
Regenerative Agriculture
- High share of protein production on the farm
- High share of permanent grassland
- Low nitrogen surplus per hectare
Animal Welfare
- Increased lifespans for dairy cattle
