For daily fresh dairy products such as desserts and yoghurt (drinks), skimmed milk powder is used to improve texture and increase protein. The casein protein in skimmed milk powder is functional besides nutritional because of its thickening effect that makes yoghurts and desserts firmer.
In parts of the world where less fresh milk is available, our milk powders are used to make cheese and yogurt.
By adjusting the heat treatment in our plants, we ensure that our milk powders can also be put to excellent use for making various types of cheese. Our skimmed milk powder that has had lower heat banding is ideally suited for this purpose.
Our milk powders and fatfilled powders are also widely used in yogurt production. The protein contributes to the structure and the vegetable oils in the fatfilled powders replace the milk fat.
Besides milk powder, we also offer liquid cream which can be used to make butter, (UHT) cream but also products such as whipped cream, cakes and puffs, among others.
