Vreugdenhil Dairy Foods awarded EcoVadis Silver again

Great news: Vreugdenhil Dairy Foods has again been awarded a silver medal by EcoVadis. Compared to last year, we have gone up by four points, from 59 to 63 points (out of 100)! This puts us in the top 12% in our sector.

The EcoVadis rating score is a globally recognised business sustainability rating that independently evaluates companies’ sustainability performance. Last year we underwent this evaluation for the first time. The EcoVadis survey is conducted annually because the result, the rating score, is linked to the interest that Vreugdenhil pays on outstanding loans.

Sustainability increasingly embedded at Vreugdenhil

In 2021, Vreugdenhil worked together with internal and external stakeholders on the new sustainability strategy that can count on broad support across the organisation. Our climate ambition is to be carbon neutral from grass to glass by 2050. A joint approach across the supply chain is essential in making this happen, whereby dialogue with our stakeholders forms the basis for a shared ambition with clear goals for the future. This is how sustainability is gradually embedded more at Vreugdenhil.
